Fast-rising Kenyan musician Stivo Simple Boy has released a new uplifting song dubbed ‘We Shall Overcome’, featuring Byzzo the Baddest, Vaal, and Made in Kibera band.
The new release is an encouragement that even though the corona virus is spreading very fast and killing thousands daily, in the end, we shall emerge victorious.

Unlike other artistes who’ve focused on sensitizing the public about symptoms and preventive measures, Stivo and his team have focused on giving hope that it is possible to fight and defeat the global pandemic.
The song is slow, backed with slow guitar beats from the band. It starts with the band doing the opening verse which is all about joy coming in the morning.
Stivo comes towards the end, and as usual lights up the audience with his unique rap skills.
The lyrics are well-though out, and have excellent rhymes which will undoubtedly lift up your sprit in these tough times.
“Corona virus has hit every corner of the Earth leaving many people ill and dead, economy of many countries have been pushed to the edge leaving lockdown and curfew as the only option to fight Covid-19. But despite all these occurrences WE SHALL OVERCOME,” the group posted while introducing the song.
