The vocally talented musician encourages Kenyans to sanitize regularly, wash their hands with soap, and always carry handkerchiefs, and use them when coughing or sneezing.

“Tujitie mhanga, tupigane na hili janga, tufunike mdomo tupigapo chafya, tusanitize… Quarantine, Sanitize, Social Distance… Kwa mda mchache najua tutashinda,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

Towards the end, CS Mohammed makes a passionate appeal to Kenyans to protect themselves and follow the guideline provided by the government.

“Friends, we live in uncertain times, that’s why the government is urging all of us to protect ourselves, stay safe, social distancing, hand washing, and please look at what the government is saying about how you should wash your hands,” she said

Kenya has so far confirmed 16 COVID-19 cases, forcing the government to ban all public gathering including churches and entertainment joints.
