Justin Timberlake has been touring with Anna Kendrick to for their ‘trolls’ movie which is now being done as a tour. Courtesy of that, we get to have new music from both Anna and JT or each of them with different artists. SZA and JT have teamed up for new single dubbed ‘The Other Side’.
Trolls is made for the kids and like the teenage-kids so much of the music from the movie has to be fun, dance-able and deeply rooted with a message. ‘The Other Side’ is no different from this. It is a song to lift people’s spirits when they are going through it. It has that disco and retro-pop vibe to it.
The video is a pick from Missy Elliot’s futuristic videos from back in the day with metallic and shiny clothes and props. JT and SZA are practically having fun in the video and they keep it unadulterated throughout. There are flips and other fun stunts being done in the video.
