award winning recording artist, heavy weight beat maker, producer, pH Raw X releases his much-anticipated album.
KUXOTAWENA (feat. Berita) is the second official single off his much-anticipated solo project SENSE EXPERIENCE & EKEYOTO. This single comes after the release of his first single IBEBALLINHO (feat. Sho Madjozi). KUXOTAWENA is a beautiful blend of the artists respective sounds into a modern, Afrocentric, hip-hop ballad.
Says pH: "After 10 years, I never thought I'd be here. 2 years ago, I lost everything that I had built over 10 years - friends, money, home and work...only to find that God had much better plans for me... this album is the beginning of those plans. This album is everything I've learned and come to understand in last 10 years...while looking forward to the next 10”.
The art of collaboration is at the heart of Sense Experience & Ekyoto. pH Raw X seamlessly binds musical genres from a vast spectrum ranging from hip hop to Afro Soul and phunk. With Executive Production by pH Raw X and collaborators include Sho Madjozi, Riky Rick, Berita, Ootz Tha Afronout, Una Rams, J Molley and Ricco.
With his recent success as co-producer on Sho Madjozi’s 2x SAMA & BET award winning album, Limpopo Champions League, the time has never been better for pH Raw X to embark on a new chapter, as a recording artist. With an array of new music set to release over the next few months, with hints of more exciting collaborations to come, 2019 is shaping up to be pH Raw X’s most iconic year to date.
