Elani Drops New Song ‘Joto’

Renowned music group Elani has dropped a new love song dubbed ‘Joto’.
The song is about a time when people are willing to come together and commit to being with one another.
It is the fourth single off of their sophomore album, "Colours of Love". The song is so timely, as this is the week of love, which will culminate on Friday with Valentine’s Day celebrations.
The video is amazing; it tells a story of a couple who have been having challenges in their relationship, but commit to overcoming the challenges and staying together.
Unlike their other songs where all the three members; Wambui Ngugi, Brian Chweya and Maureen Kunga have sole verses, in ‘Joto’, Maureen takes lead, with the others playing background vocals.
‘Joto’ is a nice tune; so inspiring and comforting especially for people facing challenges in their relationships. It is one of those songs that encourage us to fight for the people we love.
