Bornfire Dube’s ally was arrested by police in South Africa, The second time around

Zimdancehall music whiz kid Master-Tee was arrested by Masemola SAPS on Saturday night for allegedly defeating the end of justice and failure to produce a passport. He is still in police custody after appearing briefly at Nebo Magistrate court on Monday.

The sources revealed that Master Tee, together with stable mates at Kokoto Music Produxionz Guyson “Papa Vero” Mlambo and rapper Steexmon Moshidi were on a leisurely ramble at night when they bumped across the police vehicle on patrol. The trio were stopped and searched in a dark. The next thing, danso music star who happened to be drunk exchanged some words with officers and refused to be searched. Following the fierce argument, Master-Tee, known in the music industry as Bornfire Dube’s close compatriot was locked-up in a police van

Shocked rapper Steexmon says that “I do not understand reasons why the Master was arrested. He apologised sincerely for throwing tantrums at the officer in charge. We tried to intervene but still the officer insisted that Master-Tee has intentionally defeated the end of justice. I am so disappointed cause we travelled all the way from Polokwane and all of a sudden our recording session was disrupted”.

His producer Bornfire Dube dismissed allegations that Master-Tee was drunk and bully at the time of arrest. According to him the crew was busy working on the forthcoming Master-Tee’s album when the fellows requested a short studio-break to do brainstorming. During the 30 minutes break, the trio decided to go to the nearest liquor outlet at around 10h00 am to buy some drinks and cigarettes in order to refresh. He also defined Master-Tee as a humble musician who cannot fumble to an extent of refusing orders from the police.

Two months ago, the same Zimdancehall prolific muso was arrested by police for allegedly exchanging blows with a dancer who stole his phone in their kombi after a jam-packed music show at Tswaing village, outside Masemola.
