The FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022 will use the Adidas Al Rihla as its official playing ball. Al Rihla translates to "The Journey" in the English language. The German business Adidas will be in charge of producing the competition's official ball for the fourteenth year running. Because it travels through the air more effectively than the other balls, Adidas claims that this prototype ball is superior to the earlier ones.
