Who is Singah?

Fabian Okiki Singah is a fast-rising Nigerian singer who has won the hearts of many with his immense talent. The 26-year-old is signed to P Classic records. The record label is owned by P-Square’s Mr. P and was a project that was started after the duo split up.

Singah was born into a family that appreciates and values music. His talent was, therefore, nurtured, from an early age. The singer who hails from the South-Eastern part of Nigeria pursued his dream in music and had his breakthrough in 2018 after releasing ‘Teyamo’.

‘Teyamo’ went viral on the internet and shot Singah into the limelight. It gained millions of views within a short period. Three years after its release, the song has gained over 20 million views on YouTube; a milestone that is commendable for an artist’s first music project. He followed up his breakthrough song with another single dubbed ‘Mariah’ which was also warmly welcomed by fans.

The youngster’s success in the music industry has seen him get featured in top music projects across Africa. Among the top songs that he has been featured in are; Mr. P’s ‘Paloma’, Jux’s ‘Fashion Killer’, RJ The DJ’s ‘Rozana’, Xbustah’s ‘Oh’, Abdukiba’s ‘Give More’, Hamisa Mobetto’s ‘Ginger Me’, Doks’ ‘Beaute Na Sexy’ among many others.

Singah is also a songwriter and has had the chance to write songs for top artists. During a past interview, his boss Mr. P admitted that the star wrote 50% of the songs in one of his albums. Mr. P further praised Singah for his hard work and unique talent in music.

Does he have any albums?
Singah has been in the music industry for approximately four years. Within that period, he has released an album and an EP. In 2019, he released an EP titled Singah. The EP houses five songs including: ‘Bad Girls Don’t Cry’, ‘Loco’, ‘Hello My Baby’, ‘Mon Amour’, and ‘Till It’s Morning’.

In 2021 he released a 10-track album dubbed ‘The Moon And Back’. Just like the EP, the album enjoyed huge success with some of its songs going viral. The singer released the video for the first track on the album early this year.
