Who is Ayanfe?
Fashaye Williams Oluwashola, popularly known as Ayanfe, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. The 26-year-old music star, whose stage name translates to ‘chosen to be loved’, was born in Ekiti State but grew up in Ilorin city, Kwara state. The singer has an impressive educational background decorated with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the reputable Osun State University. Despite his commendable educational level, the youngster put his degree education aside for two years to pursue his passion for music.

Ayanfe stems from a musical family; a factor that made him discover his talent in music at a very young age. His mother was a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) choir where he got to sharpen his vocals and skills in music. He gradually rose up the ranks and became the lead singer in the choir. This made him build a strong foundation for the success of his career in the music industry.

Ayanfe made his debut in music with cover songs. The songster amassed a lot of popularity for doing cover songs of some of the top hit songs in the Nigerian music industry.
