DAGIZAH BIOGRAPHY
Dagizah is a Nigerian singer and songwriter whose real name is Abubakar Abdullah who made anthems such as
Cashless, Oyojo Reloaded, Who Goes There, and many others. The singer is now signed to Chippy Records, a record label by the Grammy-nominated singer and music executive Bakulli. He describes his music as a blend of foreign sounds and local Nigerian music.

Early Life And Career Breakthrough
He was born and raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State Nigeria and is the last born in a family of 6 kids. As a child, he was so into football that he used to play soccer for the school team and also train with Samba FC. But due to financial constraints, Dagizah was unable to afford the training sessions and therefore ditched the sport.
His brother who used to buy CDs of American singer Usher and Saheed Osupa was the one who influenced him to pursue music. He met Bakulli who is now his boss at Chippy Records through his then-label boss Abu Abel and from then the two started working together to date.

Dagizah has on one occasion stated that artists should not focus on just making money out of their artistry but also the focus should be on passing the "right message" to people who are mainly the fans and as one of the rising stars in the Nigerian music industry, the singer cited Davido as an artist he would like to work with.

The singer also has a strong presence on Instagram where he usually posts about his upcoming projects and sometimes his recording sessions and he has so far released more than 10 songs since his debut as an artist.
On why he called himself Dagizah, the singer confirmed that he once used Bupato as his stage name but later changed the moniker to Dagizah. The name originated from the time when he was creating an email and as he was finding the appropriate handle for the email, the name came to mind and decided to go with it.
