KENYA: Octopizzo Throws Major Shade At Madonna Following Her Comments About His Hometown Kibera

Earlier this week Kenyans on Facebook mobilized to attack American pop star Madonna following one of her Facebook posts in which she suggested that the residents of Kibera get their water from a garbage infested ditch.

A few days later and rapper Octopizzo himself, who actually grew up in Kibera, has joined the flurry of Kenyans that took issue with Madonna’s comments.

The rapper took to his Facebook page where in his rant post tagged/mentioned Madonna through her page.

“So apparently when I was Away Madonna came to Kibera and said we drink water from Mtaro…” he started his post and clearly he was not happy.

“It's ok if you wanna fund raise and all that shit, Intelligence arouses fear and respect, the lack of it keeps one on the narrow minded road of disrespect, stupidity and inferiority complex. But next time do your research before you disrespect a whole community,” he wrote.

Octopizzo continued his rant by reflecting on the positive things that the community has to offer mentioning the hidden talent as well as the hard working men and women who live in that community.  

Meanwhile Madonna doesn’t seem the least bit interested in what some of the people that have been ranting have said and has in fact moved on to Malawi where she is doing some more charity work.
