KENYA: Radio & Weasel to Work With Producer Madtraxx in Coke Studio Africa as they Reveal an Upcoming Collabo With Nigeria's Cynthia Morgan

Ugandan duo Radio & Weasel have started July on an upbeat! This year, Africa and Kenyans will discover the “Edagala” and “Juice” hit makers afresh as they are set to feature on the upcoming new season of Coke Studio Africa. 

They exclusively revealed that they will be working on the show's fourth season with Kenyan top producer of The Kansoul: Madtraxx, and Togolese star group: Toofan of the hit song “Eledji”. 

“Good music like ours has no genre or one style and it’s a good feeling to be paired with French speaking artistes. Toofan’s music is fast and ours has different tempos, sometimes it can be slow. Thankfully Madtraxx is very good with the tracks and has created something related to the two of us without corrupting his beats,” the duo said about the prospects of the collaboration.

While in Kenya, Radio & Weasel have also bonded with Toofan and got a chance to discover culture exchange through sharing Ugandan and West African food. “They ate Matoke and we had their Togolese dish. It had too much pepe though!”

Radio & Weasel have announced that one of their upcoming singles “Sit Down on it” will feature Nigerian dancehall siren Cythia Morgan. Renown for club songs and loving club culture, Radio & Weasel are also set to perform at Nyayo Stadium next Sunday (10th July 2016)—this marking their third performance in Kenya.
