UGANDA: Socialite Turned Singer Bad Black Sends Message To The IGP- Gen. Kale Kayihura

Ex-jailbird and socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa aka Bad Black came out to claim her property that was confiscated by Uganda Police in 2012 after her arrest.

The Mud Guard singer claims that the Kireka police took her cars and they sold them when she was arrested back in 2012, however she says that she served the sentence of 4 years in jail and that she doesn’t see any reason why they shouldn’t give her back her cars since selling them wasn’t part of the court sentence.

In a statement issued on social media, Bad Black told the IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura to return her cars within two days or else she will hold a demonstration in the city center. She posted:

“General Kayihura sir with much respect from Bad Black I kindly request you to tell your police station of Kireka to give me back my cars which they soled because I hv served my sentence which was passed by the judge of anti corruption court in 2012 and in my judgment there where no any order to give out my properties to any body but it was 4yrs imprisonment.

I am giving you two days before kwekalakasa in town. Next, I need court of appeal to refund my 100million back as soon as possible coz I was granted bail under medical condition and it was cancelled in one week. Did government use 100million to bring me back by car ? plz its time I need justice am a Ugandan am not afraid.”
