KENYA: South African Band Mi Casa Confirm Another Collaboration With Sauti Sol

South African house music band Mi Casa who were in the country recently for their ‘Mi Casa Unlock Africa Tour’ concert that went down at The Alchemist have revealed that they are going back in the studio with Sauti Sol for a second collaborative effort.

This revelation comes a few months after the release of the official video for Tulale Fofofo just a few months ago. The song features on Sauti Sol’s 2015 album Live and Die in Afrika.

"We have not done a lot of collaborations, but we are happy that one of the best collaborations we've ever did was with Sauti Sol," said one of the band members J'Something.

"It was strange how we met Sauti Sol, but we loved the energy and the immense talent in them.

"We bumped into each other in an elevator at an MTV Africa Music Awards afterparty and we instantly created a rapport.

"We have done a collabo with Nigeria's Wiz Kid, Yemi Alade, Angola's C4 and we are going to do another one with Sauti Sol."

The band also revealed the reasons for their frequent visits to Kenya and Nairobi saying, "Nairobi to us is like how Disney is for children. It's our best location ever.”

"Kenyans are so friendly. They always make us feel like we are at home. We are always looking forward at coming back to Kenya.

"We are confident that we will soon come here not perform but to holiday. Kenya is a great country."

Well until then we shall be closing keeping our eyes and ears peeled for Mi Casa X Sauti Sol part two.
