KENYA: Femi-One and Xtatic Team Up For New Jam 'Usiku Mchana' Kickstarting Xtatic's Long Awaited Comeback

Ever since she started out rapping, Femi-One’s rise to the top cream female rappers has been fast. Now she’s among the most recognized rappers let alone female rappers.

One thing her fans love about her is that from time to time she proves herself able and willing to go deep and rap out her emotions, something she did very well in ‘Wanjiku Kimani’ and has been able to replicate in her new song ‘Usiku Mchana’.

‘Usiku Mchana’ is a collaborative effort with fellow rapper now turned singer Xtatic, a partnership that seems to have worked out quite well for the two.

“Usiku Mchana is about how people, lovers, partners and friends always having insecurities that the money and fame might change you.

"The song only reassures them that one will still remain true and humble even when the fast life comes along," says Femi.

As to Xtatic’s singer side, a side many of her fans haven’t seen so often, she revealed that it would be her mission this year to revamp herself into a singer.

“You are going to see more of me singing this year as I have recorded more singing songs.”

"I was to release a mix tape where it was all me singing, but due to unfortunate circumstances I have had to hold back most of my projects.

"In future it is definitely more of singing as it is what I started with before rapping," Xtatic revealed.

While her comeback is well overdue, fans will definitely be pleased to welcome Xtatic back who has been quiet for a long time now.

Meanwhile you can be sure to expect a video for ‘Usiku Mchana’ soon according to Femi.
