KENYA: A Dream Come True for Kagwe Mungai as He Gets Signed by Popular Record Label Taurus Music

There’s no doubt about it, Kagwe Mungai is one of the biggest young talents in Kenya’s music industry.

Kagwe first came on to the scene in 2012 with the release of his first EP “It Only Get’s Better” and since then has managed to stay relatively successful as an independent artist.

Working both as an artist and a producer, some of his best works include ‘Nishike’ by Sauti Sol, his latest ‘Hot This Year’ featuring Muthoni the Drummer Queen, ‘Creeper’, ‘Biggest Fan’ among others.

And with hits like those behind his belt, it no wonder Record label Taurus Musik, which currently has Dela as its biggest Kenyan artist and was behind her successful ‘Hello’ cover, wanted Kagwe on board.

Speaking about the signing last week, an excited Kagwe couldn’t hold his joy saying that finally his dreams are coming true.

“My dreams are coming true people!!! I'd like to officially announce my signing to @taurusmusik. The future look so bright I had put them stunners on!!!,” he wrote on social media.
