KENYA: The Year of Willy Paul! After Sauti Sol the Controversial Gospel Artist Now Working With Grammy Award Winners Morgan Heritage

It seems like it’s shaping up to be a great year for the young controversial gospel artist Willy Paul.

Just mere hours after releasing his long awaited collaboration with Sauti Sol, Take it Slow, Willy Paul has announced that he will be working with Grammy Award winners Morgan Heritage.

“Thank you Lord for the doors that you keep opening!!!! Soon another one!!! @grampsmorgan…” he wrote on a social media post.

Last year the American--based reggae band announced that they were looking to permanently relocate to Kenya after falling in love with the country.

Earlier this year they won a Grammy Award for the best Reggae band at the 58th Grammy Awards. Shortly after they returned to Kenya with an announcement that they would be setting up a recording studio in Kenya as well as looking into artists that they could collaborate with.

Now it looks like the strapping young lad Willy Paul is first in line to work with the iconic reggae band and while it may seem like an unlikely combination, I think it’s safe to say that we should be prepare ourselves for a pleasant surprise just like Take it Slow was.
