EXCLUSIVE: 'I Have an Unreleased Song With D’banj' Nameless

This week at the Mdundo Celeb Lunch Date we got a chance to chill with one of the biggest names in the Kenyan music industry, Nameless and what an honor it was.

What’s most remarkable is the fact that despite all his accomplishments in music and in life, Nameless is still the most humble guy you’ll meet.

Many have come and go in the music industry but the Letigo hit maker is one of the few constants in such a dynamic industry.

I mean seriously most of us grew up listening to this guy you’d think we’d be over him by now. But no, he’s like an expensive bottle of wine the older it gets, the sweeter it tastes.

From closely monitoring his career, you can tell that Nameless has been constantly reinventing himself, playing around with different sounds and different styles. That’s why he always manages to keep his fans at the edge of their seats waiting for his next hit.

And so we asked him about some of the internationally recognized artists he would like to work with and among the names that popped up was Usher Raymond, surprisingly Snoop Dogg and back in Africa Nameless has great admiration for P Square.

Another name that came up was that of another Nigerian star D’banj who he says he’s already been to the studio with but after he’s fall out with his former record label, the would be great collabo went to naught.

But who knows maybe this two great names will link up once again in the future and we’ll get to witness an even bigger hit. I’m sure that will the prayer of many of his loyal fans.
