KENYA: 'He Was the One That Leaked the Collabo', Willy Paul Responds to Bahati's Accusations

Yesterday the news broke that Bahati was thinking of suing fellow Gospel artist Willy Paul and producer Teddy B after they allegedly went behind his back and leaked an unreleased Willy Paul, Bahati collaboration.

And right after the news broke, Willy Paul took to social media and responded to the allegations in an emotional Facebook post.

“…Why is it always about you and me? Why am I the only person you attack with your lies? Did I ever wrong you somewhere??” read the post.

According to Willy Paul, Bahati is yet again pulling media stunts by pulling a wedge between them despite Willy’s efforts to show Gospel fans that there was no grudge between them.

“I've tried so much to make peace with him but from what I see, he's not ready for peace. We've met severally took photos which I always upload to show our fans that we are okay and we don't have any beef.. He's never posted any because he wants the innocent fans to keep fighting each other coz it works for him that way,” says Willy Paul.

And though he does not deny that they did the collaboration, the ‘Sitolia’ hit maker says that he never leaked the song but instead accuses Bahati of leaking it so as to create the scandal and remain relevant.

“So today after you leaked the song and said that it was me, what were your expectations? Are you not tired of seeing people insulting me because of your lies? Don't you think it’s wise to set a good example to the people who look up to us?? Why do you want our fans to keep fighting? Be a true minister, am not saying that am perfect, but at least I control myself.”

Furthermore Willy Paul says that if his compatriot really had hard evidence of the crime, he should have approached him and not the media.

“…if it’s true you believe and have evidence that I leaked the song, why didn't you call me?? Why my brother, why?? Why did you run to the media?? That's what you always do to keep yourself relevant and that's not a good thing man.”

So in a nutshell Bahati claims Willy Paul leaked the song and the accused says that it’s all a publicity stunt. It’s always the same story with these two.

And though fans last year might have gotten a sense that the two youngsters might actually put their grudge (or egos if you will) aside and finally work together, after this it now seems like a coming together of the two might never really happen.
