VIDEO REVIEW: What Fans Think Of Visita's Solo Project

He is known for his signature laugh, humor intoxicated lyrics and for being a master of collaborations. However, Visita the Grandpa signed artist recently chose a different path by dropping his first solo project christened, ‘Mapepo’.
Barely four days old, the nation has been talking tons about the video and Mdundo saw it best to gather these opinions and let the rest of the world know what ‘Mapepo’ has had people feeling

“Noma sana! I’m a DJ and am so happy mixing this song; people yell with just the introduction…. tulifanya harusi jana naleo tushakosana hayo ni…. I knew Visita was good, but this just put him on another level!” quickly stated a music enthusiast
“I have been waiting for quite a while to see Visita do an entire song alone. His punch lines in previous collaborations simply make him an interesting talent and this song, just proved that. However I would have loved to hear him on a different beat – it has become too monotonous” added a fan
Not all were of the same sentiments: “It’s a funny song I have to admit. But is there no Kenyan artist willing to give us something more other than vixens and CGI? And if it’s a must to include vixens, please let them be something my eye would thank me later for. Not what I saw on ‘Mapepo’.”
"The graphics are wanting! I don’t know if he was on a tight budget or in a hurry to serve the people with visuals, but I feel that he put very little energy into the visuals. As for the song, I’ll give him points on the half baked messages but what happened to the rhythm? He lost it at some point, hence it goes back to being basic rap” added another
