KENYA: Reggae Artiste Chronixx Returns To Kenya

Jamaican reggae sensation Jamar Rolando McNaughton Jr, aka Chronixx, returns to Nairobi next week, two years after his last visit.

Having termed Kenya a special place for him and his music career, the Here Comes Troublehit maker will be jetting in mid next week ahead of his July 21 show that will also feature a number of local artistes.

MondayBlues has confirmed that the singer, arguably the biggest reggae star right now, will fly in with his Zinc Fence Redemption band. Sources have it that he will also have a technical team of seven people. Besides the concert, Chronixx will visit Kiza Lounge, where he will also share moments with fans.

During his last visit, the singer applauded his Kenyan fans, saying Kenya was one of the countries that supported his music when he was getting started.

He said Kenya’s love for reggae meant a lot not only to him but all reggae musicians.

With his popular hits, among them Smile Jamaica, Ain't No Giving In, Good Over Evil and Who Knows making him a household name in Kenya, the singer says his visit will be a special treat to all his fans in East Africa and that people should expect nothing but the best.
