UGANDA: Chameleone To Celebrate 20 Years of Good Music

Celebrated singer Jose Chameleone will this year celebrate 20 years of music. The singer according to sources intends to celebrate the journey with a mega party and concert with all music lovers.

The Champion singer has disclosed he will be announcing another concert date to mark his 20 years of quality music. Chameleone earlier had booked 30th November before he postponed it to a new date that will be communicated.

Chameleone started his professional music journey in November 1998 in Nairobi where he did his first single. Jose Chameleone (born Joseph Mayanja; 30 April 1979) is a Ugandan AfroBeat artiste and the most popular musician of his generation in Uganda and many countries.

His first album, Bageya, was released in 2000. By 2013, he had released twelve more albums, including Mama Mia in 2001, Njo Karibu and The Golden Voice in 2003, Mambo Bado in 2004, Kipepeo in 2005, Shida za Dunia in 2006, Sivyo Ndivyo and Katupakase in 2007, Bayuda in 2009, Vumilia in 2010, Valu Valu in 2012, Badilisha in 2013, Tubonge in 2014, Wale wale in 2015, Sili Mujjawo in 2016, Sweet Banana in 2017, Champion in 2018.
