JuaCali planning to venture into the movie sector

Kenyan Genge artist Juacali today let people know what his stand is on the recent "media war" by artists on West African music getting more airplay than local music.

During an interview with Mzazi Willy M. Tuva on radio Citizen today, he had the following to say,

Its rather evident that a lot of West African music especially Nigerian music gets more airplay than our own local content; Is it because it's better quality or are we simply curious of what more the world has to offer, Music wise?

Juacali also further went on to let his fans know what his plans for the coming 5 years are,

"Me naona mbali you know?

Juacali also encouraged his fellow artists to work on their particular fields and boost it a notch higher so as to better it, He admits that they are being challenged by by other African artists.

We wish Juacali nothing but success in his upcoming projects.

What's your take on his response on West African music being turned a notch lower for the sake of local music?
