Omena Republique, born Augustus Mululu is an Afro-Pop Artist with his rap influenced by his native language LUO. He started music professionally in 2004 with a moniker of Agassi (short form of his birth name and as popularly referred to by peers), 2 years later he formed a duo with Paul Mwayi who was his high school friend's friend going by the name of Agassi and Poppy (Paul Mwayi's moniker). After 9 years, on and off musical journey without success, Poppy quit music and Agassi had to go solo again thereby re-branding to Omena Republique, a name coined due to his undying love for Omena (the small fish). Omena Republique's music is Authentically Unique! 

Bad Gal Atoti a lead single off Omena Republique's debut album titled Senior Bachelor, is dropping this April 2017. The song that talks about real life experience of being in Love with a cheating spouse is a Hot, Unique, Catchy, Club-Friendly single with energetic flow from the beginning to end and it features one of Kenya's musical heavyweights Wakimbizi.

Omena Republique's musical journey began when he was a very young boy growing up listening to hip hop music with much influences from Nonchalant (5 Oclock'), Lost Boyz, Aaliyah, Monica and Brandy. Closer home Omena was very much influenced by Nameless, the late Esir, Wickymosh, K'rupt, Gidi Maji, Jomenes, Wahu, Nonini, Juacali etc.
